I’m trying to see which Instagram accounts someone follows, but in chronological order. That is, sort by post date. I know you could do this through the app before, but these videos are from 2018, and it doesn’t work now.
I don’t really care about followers; I’m only interested in which accounts a particular user follows. So, if they follow someone else, should that show up at the top of the list? I hope I’m making this clear! I tried a few websites and a Chrome extension, but they seemed risky because they asked for my Instagram password. Ideally, I’d like my account to be private; I wouldn’t want anyone else to know it!
Previously, the list order did provide more clues, but Instagram now uses its own sorting algorithms, so the following list doesn’t reflect chronology. Just because someone follows a new account doesn’t mean they’ll appear at the top of the list.
If you need specific information about who a user started following and when the changes occurred, it’s better to use specialized tools that work without sharing your login credentials.
