We ran into a problem at our summer house. The old sewer pipe that runs from the house to the septic tank kept getting clogged. We called a plumber, who inspected the pipe with a camera. He said the cast iron pipe was cracking and that tree roots were growing inside it. Replacing the entire pipe would be disastrous because it runs under a well-manicured English lawn and bushes that my wife has put a lot of effort and money into. Please suggest an effective way to repair the pipe without digging.
I should mention that the section is about 12–15 meters long. Has anyone had similar trenchless repairs done specifically for private homes? I mostly see articles online about major city thoroughfares, but do companies take on such small residential jobs? How much do they cost, roughly?
