My father-in-law passed his lawn tractor

Good afternoon. My father-in-law passed his lawn tractor on to us, which was generous but came with zero paperwork. The deck belt snapped last weekend and I’ve been trying to work out the correct replacement, except I can’t find a parts diagram anywhere and the belt itself has no legible markings left on it. There’s a model plate under the seat with a long number stamped on it, though I’ve no idea which part of it actually identifies the machine. Any advice on tracking down documentation for something like this without a brand name to go on?

That plate under the seat is the key, so photograph it now before it corrodes any further. Lawn tractors are awkward for this because the same chassis gets sold under several brand names with different model numbers, and belt lengths vary between deck widths on machines that look identical.
