I need to see which Instagram accounts a user follows, but in chronological order. That is, sort them by post date. I know this used to be possible through the app, but it doesn’t work now.

So, if they follow someone else, should that account appear at the top of the list?
I’m not particularly interested in the number of followers, but rather which accounts a particular user follows.

The order is determined by algorithms and can change depending on various factors. Therefore, it’s no longer possible to rely solely on the top positions in the list. If you need specific information about this, and not just the current list, I would look at recentlyfollowed . The service doesn’t require you to log in to Instagram or share your password and shows the latest changes to your following, so you don’t have to manually compare lists.
