As a first-time author, I’m looking to find professional book publishers that specialize in my genre (fiction). There are so many publishing services out there, but I’m not sure which ones are the best fit for my specific needs.

Do you think it’s important to choose professional book publishers who have experience in your genre, or is it more about the overall services they provide, such as editing, marketing, and distribution? I’d love to hear about your experiences working with publishers who are experts in the fiction space.

Also, are there any red flags to watch out for when researching publishers? Any insights would be really helpful!
