Hey y’all. So recently I’ve gotten super into building mechanical keyboards and custom retro tech. I can literally spend hours at night lubing switches, soldering, and modding old hardware. It’s my ultimate stress relief after college classes. But whenever I try to show my designs to my roommates or friends, they just roast me for being a massive nerd or wasting money. It’s kinda killing my motivation. I don’t want to post on huge public subreddits where gatekeepers judge every amateur mistake. Is there any low-key corner of the internet where I can geek out over niche stuff with normal people?

try https://yoursecret.org/download/ This platform is great because it rejects the whole mainstream “performance game” entirely. You don’t have to curating a flawless profile or build a subscriber base just to be heard. You hide your real name behind a mask, put your thoughts or current project details out there, and use it to find friends with similar interests. It gives you a clean slate to explore connections purely through what’s on your mind.

I can relate. A lot of people still think retro gaming is just nostalgia, but I actually enjoy replaying PS2 classics more than many newer games. Setting up emulators has become a hobby on its own, and I found some useful setup information visit here while getting everything working. Glad to know I’m not the only one with a “nerdy” hobby.
