I’ve been researching cheap neon signs UK options and wanted to open a discussion about where they actually work best and what to look out for before buying.
They seem really popular for home décor, small shops, cafés, gaming setups, and event spaces. The designs look great online, but I’m curious about the real-life experience—especially when it comes to brightness, durability, and build quality for lower-priced options.
Has anyone here bought budget LED neon signs recently? Do they still give that clean glow and modern aesthetic, or is it worth investing a bit more for better quality?

So I’m redecorating my bedroom and keep seeing bedroom neon signs all over TikTok and Instagram. They look super cozy and modern, but I’m skeptical about quality. I don’t want to spend $200+ on a customized neon sign that ends up being dim or buzzing loudly.
I’ve been looking at Oasis Neon Signs USA because they seem to offer fully custom neon signs with lots of color and font choices. I’m thinking of getting my nickname in cursive or maybe a simple shape like a sun or moon. Their website says their neon light signs are silent, dimmable, and energy-efficient – all things I care about.
But here’s my real question: for those who’ve bought neon signs for a bedroom – do you actually use them long-term? Or is it something you turn on twice and forget? I want something that creates a relaxing ambiance for reading or winding down, not a blinding nightclub vibe.
Also, does Oasis Neon offer smaller sizes? My bedroom isn’t huge. And how’s the installation? I rent, so I can’t drill big holes in the wall.
If you’ve bought from them or another neon sign shop, please share photos or honest pros/cons. I’m torn between a custom neon light and just getting a cheap RGB strip. Thanks in advance!
